The Spanish model and pilot was born in 1988 in Alicante. The daughter of the also pilot José Miguel Jordá, began to compete with 10 years in the category of karts. At 12 she was ranked third in the Yamaha category of the Valencia community Championship. In 2006 she had her first contact with the Spanish Formula 3 Championship, but it was in 2007 that she started competing with the Meycom team and where she got podiums. She debuted in Le Mans Series in the year 2009, disputing three races.

In 2010 she signed with the Walter Racing team to compete in the Indy Lights Series in the USA. And in 2012 she became part of the Ocean Racing Technology team of GP3 Series.

Jordá became the development pilot of the Lotus F1 team in 2015, with the purpose of working with the simulator that the team has. For 2018/2019’s season Carmen entered at the Nissan’s team.

Now, Carmen is a member of the Board of the FIA in the "Commission for women and motor sports", where she represents and defends the interests of women in motorsports. In 2017 she was Spanish ambassador for an Intimissimi campaign.

Carmen is a regular assistant to the red carpets of the most exclusive events such as Cannes or Laureus World Sports Awards.
