Loles' filmography includes a wide repertoire among her films, television appearances on shows and series and short films. Among her movies we find El amante bilingüe and Libertinas with Vicente Aranda. In 1998 she was candidate for the Goya Prize for the best female cast performance thanks to her main roles in Amor de hombre and La Niña de tus ojos. In 2003 she began working on the successful Spanish series Aquí no hay quien viva as Paloma Hurtado and simultaneously, she combined starring and secondary roles in Obra maestra, Hable con ella, or series such as Águila Roja or Anclados, later in 2015. Since 2016, Loles appears in the television series La que se avecina in Telecinco, playing Menchu, the main character. In 2019, the actress participated in the Oscar-nominated film, Dolor y Gloria, by Almodóvar, alongside Antonio Banderas and Penelope Cruz. By 2020 we will see her in the movie Dos Corazones.
