TV presenter and writer born in 1965 in Venezuela. His father is Rodolfo Izaguirre, a Venezuelan film critic, and his mother is Belén Lobo, a dancer. His career in the media began at the age of 16 in the Caracas newspaper El Nacional. Since then he has continued to collaborate with various media.
The columnist and writer was the brand new finalist for the Planeta Prize thanks to his most successful novel Villa Diamante in 2007. Among his books we can find Best Sellers such as And suddenly it was yesterday (2009), Two monsters together (2011), A garden in the north (2014), Stormy Time (2018). In addition, Boris has a column in Zero2 magazine and in Marie Claire. He also collaborates uninterruptedly in other media such as El País.
His multifaceted profile has allowed him to work in radio, as a collaborator in La Ventana on Cadena SER and as a scriptwriter and co-author with José Ignacio Cabrujas in the soap operas Rubí rebel and La dama de rosa. The success of these productions on Spanish Television allowed him to continue writing scripts for programs such as Inocente or El Súper.
Apart from being a soap opera scriptwriter and collaborator, he was a television presenter on Crónicas Marcianas with Xavier Sardá and on Channel Nº4 with Ana García-Siñeriz from 2005 to 2008.
In September 2018 he participated in MasterChef Celebrity 3 and was also part of Masterchef 4 where he was a finalist. In November of the same year he began his career as a brides advisor in the debut of the Spanish edition of the program Sí, Quiero esa dress, which was broadcast on the DKiss channel.
His most recent project has been to present, together with Paula Prendes, the talent show Prodigios on La1 on TVE.
